Things To Do And Experience In Thailand

Thailand is one of the top tourist destinations in the world and is certainly a gorgeous country to visit. In this article we will be looking at a few of the things you can do and experience in this beautiful country. You don't have to spend all your time cooped up in your hotel, here is a good read by Go Thai which will let you know this country has so much to offer.

The first thing you need to do is visit Thailand's beaches. Some of the best, must visit beaches in Thailand are Railay beach, Phra Nang beach, Tonsai beach, Mai Khao, Karon, Kato, Khao Lak and much more. You will be able to enjoy white sands and brilliant blue water. Best of all, there are usually lots of food stalls and vendors on the beach, so you can enjoy a snack and umbrella drink while basking in the sun and enjoying the view.

The next activity you should consider is going on a day trip by renting a long tail boat and visiting nearby islands. You can find these long tail boats and their operators on almost all beaches and you can simply talk to one of the operators to organize a trip. There are dozens of neighboring islands that only take about 30 minutes to go to, so you will be able to visit many islands in one day. Best of all, the US dollar goes a long way in Thailand and these trips are quite inexpensive.

Another excellent trip you should take is a trip to a rubber tree plantation. There are numerous rubber tree plantations throughout Thailand and if you visit one, you will be able to see how the locals make latex from rubber trees. This is quite educational and entertaining which makes it a great activity if you're on vacation with kids or are simply interested in the subject.

If you are a sport enthusiast, then you would know that Thailand is famous for its boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai. There are lots of local fights and rings, so it would be very easy to find a place to watch local fights. The action and fights are quite real and are much better than the typical fights in the Western hemisphere.

As you can see, Thailand is a place that not only offers a gorgeous landscape, but numerous activities to explore and engage in. This is just the tip of the iceberg, so make sure to do more research and learn more about the country before visiting to ensure you make the most out of your stay.
